I’ve been making some minor visual changes to the site recently. One of those changes included the creation of a FavIcon.
In non tech speak a FavIcon is a small 16×16 image icon which loads in your browsers tab bar when visiting.
This proceedure normally requires the use of image editing software, downsizing your image to a particular set of dimensions and exporting as a .ico file.
As i was in a rush, and to comply with my “No wasted time doing technical bits & bobs” mandate for 2010, i did a quick google search and stumbled upon this great tool.
Upload any image and submit, and you are presented with a perfectly formated icon for your site. Highly recommended and very quick.
