This last weekend was less than perfect, Matthew appeared quite Ill from the beginning. After a long sleep from the Friday to the Saturday morning Matthew had quite a build up of mucus on his chest.
For breakfast he ate the usual porridge and yogurt and for lunch a pack of apple chunks and more fruit. He quickly became starry eyed and vomited in very large volume. This scared him, it was quite un expected as it was for his shocked and pale faced daddy.

The rest of the weekend went smoothly, we went for a drive and some shopping on Sunday, however due to the weather we couldn’t visit too many out door locations.
The drive to Coventry went smoothly, we left on time and beat any traffic, excellent conditions considering it is bank holiday Monday.
The real disappointment however came when he burst in to tears after seeing his mum again. While this is touching, I couldn’t help feel very unwanted and really quite emotional. Matthew refused to wave goodbye or accept any hugs / kisses from me.
I realise no problem actually exists however it is hard not to speculate and ponder on negativity when your child, no matter how young and un educated in the adult emotional system rejects you.

I really look forward to our next weekend, the weather is becoming much more reliable now, we can visit far more interesting and fun places.
On a brighter note, the physical changes in Matthew are uncanny. He is a little boy now and responds to questions with a nod or a shake of the head.

Ask him if he is hungry, Matthew will nod a very agreeable Yes.
